Matthew Skinner is Assistant Principal at an all-through school in Leeds, with strategic responsibility for areas of PSHCE, Coaching, CEIAG, Pathways and the House system.

Matthew has led the development of a vertically structured pastoral model centred around small coaching circles, fostering strong relationships and inclusive communication across age groups.

Matthew’s leadership has centred on building inclusive systems that support meaningful relationships and personal growth. Through the coaching model, Matthew has championed professional learning that equips staff to respond to diverse pupil needs and encourages reflective practice that strengthens the relational and inclusive culture across the school.
