Sally Simpson is a seasoned journalist currently working at ITV since July 2007. She has previously served as Commercial Features Editor and Chief Reporter at Yorkshire Post Newspapers from January 2001 to July 2007.

Sally has a BA (Hons) in English Language & Linguistics from Durham University. Her work at ITV includes presenting the 6pm programme and covering significant stories across the region.

She is known for her love of Yorkshire and enjoys spending weekends in the area, where she engages in various activities such as open water swimming, family outings and singing in a barbershop chorus.
