Samantha Jefferson is an experienced Headteacher and restorative practice advocate. She joined Wetherby High School in 2015 as Assistant Headteacher where she held a variety of responsibilities including Head of Sixth Form, Lead for Inclusion and Lead for Outcomes.

In 2021, Samantha was appointed Headteacher where she has demonstrated a commitment to relationship and peace building across the school community.

She has used innovative strategies to provide an inclusive experience for all children, such as the development of the school’s coaching model, and the introduction of Life Learning, an enrichment programme embedded in the timetabled day that fosters community and aspirations.
