Will has been Headteacher at Ralph Thoresby School since 2012 during which time the school has developed to become a trusted, inclusive and genuinely comprehensive school, serving the local community. Prior to his role as Headteacher, Will worked in a diverse range of schools across the region.

A keen advocate of collaboration between schools in different contexts, Will is the current Red Kite Alliance Chair. Will has also chaired the North West Leeds Education Trust and the Leeds North West Area Inclusion Partnership.

Ralph Thoresby School have worked closely with colleagues in the Leeds Learning Alliance for many years and, in 2020, the school introduced the Coaching Model pioneered by Carr Manor Community School.
